D7000 or D7000v2? Look at the product label. Firmware version?
Connected to what? LED indicators? Any useful information at all
beyond "doesn't work"?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

Re: D7000
Only red light is the internet light.
Firmware is V1.0.1.74_1.0.1.
And it doesn't work when the DSL is plugged in also reset the router with the reset button.
How ever I managed to get my isp router as a bridge not the proper way but it works not great speed, I can use both routers.

Re: D7000
It looks like all is fine except that the D7000 is not negotiating a connection to the internet.
It is getting the DSL connection.
Have you been through the simple process of taking it through the connection settings for your DSL service?

Netgear calls that "amber".
Apparently the DSL physical link is good. Does your connection use
PPPoA or PPPoE? Are there any special characters in your PPP
credentials? Netgear has a history of mishandling them. See, for
example:
