D7000v2 Not working in AP mode
Hello guys, thanks in advance for any help
I have a D7000v2, I'm trying to get it to work in AP mode but it just never does.
My main router I'll be using is a BT Home Hub 5. I've gone through so many guides and each time the router doesn't work as expected!
I just don't understand what is happening, in AP mode it doesn't allow for Wireless for some reason. It's like they're turned off but aren't?!
I'm honestly so confused, bit new to routers etc, any help would be much apprechaited.

Re: D7000v2 Not working in AP mode
Have you tried to reserve the IP address of the D7000 in the BT home hub?

Re: D7000v2 Not working in AP mode
Any reason why you want to keep the Homehub going? The D7000v2 can replace it completely. There isn't much that a Homehub can do that is beyond the D7000v2.

What do you mean "it doesn't allow for Wireless"?
Do wifi devices see the wifi from the Homehub and the router?
Tried turning off the wifi on the Homehub?
I assume that you have read the bit in the manual for the D7000v2 about how to use it as an access point.
There is a manual for the D7000v2 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> D7000v2 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<<
See the section Use the Modem Router as a WiFi Access Point.
