D7000v2 changing my pc ip address everytime it reboots ?

I run a mirc prog on my descktop and have portforwarding on my D7000v2 AC1900 every time it reboots or drops the connections it changes my ip of my descktop and I have to keep rechanging the forwarding ip so I can send work files on this program. Any idears of why or how this happens. Thanks in advance.

I'd expect that. The "D" in "DHCP" stands for "dynamic". If you
want a device to have the same address always, as, for example, when
it's a port-forwarding target server, then you could reserve an address
for it.

for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Forward
Incoming Traffic for a Default Service or Application", where I see:
The server computer must always receive the same IP address. To
specify this setting, use the reserved IP address feature. See
Manage Reserved LAN IP Addresses on page 147.
