I am based in the UK and have purchased a Nighthawk AC 1900 Wifi VDSL/ADSL Modem router Model D7000v2
Although the internet light remains on at all times I am regularily losing internet connection and have to manualy reboot the router at least a coupe of times every day.
Is this likely to be a hardware issue or could it be caused by a sporadic interuption of the broadband service.(if the latter should the router reboot itself when the signal is re-instated)
Netgear support suggesed changing the firmware to V1.0.53_1.02 but this has not helped
The original firmware was 1.0.0.56_1.0.1
Can anyone shed light on this problem and Is this the best Modem/Router that Netgear sell?
