Hi. An internet LED that is solid amber simply indicates the D7000 did not detect an internet connection. Has the internet connection been previously working OR is this a fresh setup???
Anyway, this can be one of two things - the "internet cable is not correctly inserted into the modem/wall socket or faulty - try another cable (I think they are JS11's???). Second possibility is that the initial setup had an unexpected error that now produces this error (less likely).
First try turning off the modem and unplugging the power. Swap out the internet cable and wait half an hour before reconnecting everything and turning it all on - hopefully we see a solid white LED. If nothing, factory reset the modem and begin the setup process again. Happy days.
