D7800 firmware version 1.0.1.10
I installed the latest firmware last week v1.0.1.10 and since then have had numerous losses of connection although the DSL/internet light on the unit remains solid white. Re-booting the modem resets the connection. I have never had this problem in the past and have now re-installed the previous firmware version 1.0.0.48. I notice that others appear to have problems with the latest firmware and I suspect there is a problem with it.

Hello BusterKeaton
When you went back to the old firmware did you not have any of the problems? And did you see any other issues on the new firmware.

Re: D7800 firmware version 1.0.1.10
No, since re-installing the previous version of firmware I have not had any dropouts or problems. The dropouts were the only problem I experienced with the new firmware.

Re: D7800 firmware version 1.0.1.10
This firmware update was shockingly bad for me and I had to revert back to the previous firmware version (v.1.0.0.48), because after I updated the router completely lost all my DHCP reservations. Even when I tried adding a rew reservation or editing an older one, neither would work properly. I was just happy I had made a backup of my config file and was able to download the older firmware version, otherwise I would have been stuffed!

2 days later and no problems or drop outs. Latest version of firmware does appear to be reliable!

Re: D7800 firmware version 1.0.1.10
Having also had significant problems with dropouts with v1.0.1.10, I updated my firmware to v1.0.1.16 over a week ago. Unfortunately however, it is no better than v1.0.1.10. The frequency of drop outs is incredibly frustrating. I'm about to downgrade to v.1.0.0.48 - which was the last time it was stable. Please sort it out. Unacceptable for such an expensive piece of kit..
Cheers
