D8500/R8500 reboot loop
I have a D8500 Nighthawk x8 which is stuck in a boot loop, it's only just over three months old but will not fire up wireless, DHCP or sync with DSL.
How do i get this replaced under waranty?

Have you factory reset the device?
That's just a guess given the limited information you have provided.
You can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:

Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

Re: D8500/R8500 reboot loop
Yes, I have tried a factory reset as described in the manual and also a 30/30/30 reset as suggested by some threads on this forum. Now it does occassionally broadcast the default SSIDs but no devices (PC, Phone, Tablet) will connect to either of them and hey disappear frequently.
Also never gets to DSL sync and doesn't fire up DHCP, just keeps on repeating the loop.
If connected to one of the ethernet ports (and I've tried all of them) the interface keeps alternating between cable unplugged and connected but no internet with a self assigned IP every minute or so.
It's still under hardware warranty, how do I start the RMA process?

If it is registered to your My Netgear account, you can start there.

Will this work?
Whatever you do, ignore all requests to take out a support contract.
