DC6400 not detecting Wired Ethernet connection
Can anyone help?
I am a novice...have connected everything to the network via wi-fi but my blu ray player uses a wired Ethernet connection. When this was connected there appeared to be no connection...as though the ports were dead. I tried it in all four ports but nothing. I am at a lost as to what to do...I assumed once I connected the cable into the router and into the blu ray it would establish a connection as per my old router. nothing......
Any help appreciated. Am I missing something that is so simple?.

Re: DC6400 not detecting Wired Ethernet connection
Is this a D6400? (There is no DC6400.)
What make and model of BluRay player? Is it connected directly to the router.
You probably need to work out what is going on there.
With my Samsung BluRay player I have to run it through a setup routine to make it see the Ethernet.
