We have several DGN220V4s runnign version 1.0.0.66 Firmware. We have IP/VPNs set up which work fine but we are seeing strange messages "Fri, 2015-10-23 13:18:01 - [(null)] sending notification PAYLOAD_MALFORMED to 91.216.25.2:500" in amongst valid VPN log entries.
Does anyone know if this is a feature of the Netgear or have we a bigger problem ?
Thanks

If it was only happening on 1 link i would ay that was the problem but this was for 13 VPNs - with 2 different models of netgear router. I have since blocked access to the offending IP address and the errors have dissapeared.

Re: DGN220V4 - Unexpected VPN LOG entries
Hello keefyD
When I did some research on this the most common awnser I found is A common cause is that the pre-shared secret is not configured correctly on both peers. that may be whats giving out that error.
