DGND3700V1 reinstall original firmware
I have obtained DGND3700 wireless modem. The previous owner installed some Richud firmware in an attempt to get this modem to work with the NBN, fibre network. I do not have fibre.
Can Netgear firmware be reinstalled so I can use the modem on my ADSL2+ again.
I can not connect to the net using this modem as it is.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Re: DGND3700V1 reinstall original firmware
Yes you can go back to the original firmware, but I don't know why you'd want to. The Richud firmware does everything the original firmware can do and has many enhancements to the firmware Netgear provides. A major one for me is the ability to adjust the DHCP Lease Time rather than being forced to the 1 hour lease time that is hard coded in the Netgear firmware. Another enhancement that I use is the ability to use the modem for a VDSL connection, which was originally announced as supported by Netgear, but removed from all currently available Netgear firmware.
