DM200-100NAS Speed Increase
My new DM200-100NAS is much more stable than the previous CenturyLink modem, but the speed seems to have decreased. Is there anyway to coax more speed from the modem? Thank you, Ken Traynham

Which was a what? Are you now using a (wireless?) router other than
the DM200?

"seems"? Measured how? "decreased" from what to what? Promised to
be what?
Does your CenturyLink service involve a bonded line pair?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"View the Port Traffic Statistics" and "DSL Link". What's the DSL
physical link "Connection Speed"?
Even a little useful information might be helpful.

What else is on the network?
Out of the box, the DM200 is in modem/router mode, albeit the router is basic.
If you didn't put the DM200 into modem only mode, maybe you have got something bolted on to the modem that gets in the way.
