It's a question asked all over the net, but yet I cannot find the solution! How do I access the DM200 modem in modem only mode!? When switching the mode the modem advises it will only be accessible from 192.168.5.1 but yet it doesn't work? I have an internet connection so it's not the end of the World but would be great to log in a check on logs as I have been having ISP issues.
I have a DM200 connected to a ASUS RT-AC3200. The ASUS is on IP 192.168.1.1 and the subnets are clear. So, in theory, there shouldn't be any reason why I cannot connect to the DM200 modem on 192.168.5.1? Unless it isnt possible once in modem mode? Note: when I put the router into modem mode I did not enable 'VLAN Passthrough'.
Has anyone else found a way around this?
Thanks,
Kingy

From the manual...
After you disable the modem’s routing features and the modem functions as a DSL modem only, you can access the modem only through a fixed IP address, which is 192.168.5.1.Therefore, make sure that IP address 192.168.5.1 is not assigned to another device on your network. Your routers manual - Page 70.
You won't be able to get to it from the router's. .1.x subnet. Plugging directly into a LAN port with a laptop, on the DM200, launch a browser and connect to 182.168.5.1. FIRST things FIRST. Configure your laptop's NIC card in the 192.168.5.x network - use address: 192.168.5.100 mask: 255.255.255.0. This should get you onto the DM200.

Re: DM200 GUI Access in Modem Only Mode
I did read the manual and saw something along those lines - completely didn't think about setting a static IP on my laptop on same subnet etc. though! Massive fail on my part, kicking myself now!
Thanks!
