DM200 bridge mode
I've replaced a TP-Link 8817 modem with the DM200, both configured bridge mode on ADSL. I can see the statistics page on both modems and the connect speeds are the similar. Looking at a packet trace the DM200 does not return PPPoE packets, the 8817 works fine. Looking at your community pages it seems many people have the same problem. Firmware version 1.0.0.44. Is there a fix or workaround?

How did you configure the DM200? Is there some actual problem which
you are trying to solve? Why are you looking at packet traces? Did you
follow the procedures in the "Troubleshoot the DSL Link" section of the
DM200 User Manual?

Care to offer any clues as to at what you're looking, or are we on
our own?
You have to admire the quality control which was applied on a manual
which refers to "VDLS". The documentation gets checked before release
about as well as the firmware.

As quoted above bridge mode doesn't seem to work with this modem.

I don't see a problem with the DSL link. As I said the modem is connecting at much the same speed as my old modem.
Sadly I don't see anything bridged to the LAN side of the modem nor does it respond to any PPPoE packets.

For example, the thread "DM200 Basic Setup to Router" in this forum seems to be describing the same problem as mine.
