DSL to Ethernet Failover
Hi, I was looking to get myself a D7000 Nighthawk modem router and I was wondering if it is possible to failover from main line (vDSL) to the ethernet WAN port (cable internet)?
I cant seem to find a documentation that says otherwise.

Re: DSL to Ethernet Failover
It does not have such a capability. It's rumored also that it has been "put out to pasture" (End-of-Life) by Netgear so is not a good purchase under any circumstances IMO.
From the manual pg 65 "If you connect both a DSL modem and a cable or fiber modem to the modem router and you want to manually specify the settings for a cable or fiber Internet connection, you must first set the WAN connection preference manually to the Ethernet WAN port (see Change the Physical WAN Connection Preference on page 185). If you do not, the DSL settings take precedence over the cable or fiber settings. However, we recommend that you connect only the modem that you intend to use for your Internet connection: a DSL modem, cable modem, or fiber modem."
