I have Direct TV, with Century Link providing Internet service, Can I use my previous NETGEAR Router

Depends on what service you have from Centurylink and what modem/router you have. If you have VDSL service from Centurylink your modem/router will have to support VDSL. If your service is ADSL more modem/routers support that. Again, without your specific service and Netgear device model your question cannot be answered. And curious what DirecTV has to do with it as that's a sattelite service. You can bundle the billing with Centurylink, but that has nothing to do with your internet service.
