Firmware update confusion

Hello, i have a DGND3700v2, firmware V1.1.00.12_1.00.12 updated from the internal wizard.
I keep looking for updates but so far none were available.
Yesterday i went to the official netgear support website and it showed a more recent firmware version to download: 1.1.00.15 (for all regions except North America & Germany. I live in Italy).

This confuses me:
- why won't the router update itself from the internal wizard?
- Should i download and apply this update manually?
- If yes, is this a buggy release or is it ok?

It is common to have an issues reaching server to download .

You will see similar in the forum dozen times.

It is better to manually download and upgrade will be safer . 🙂

Is it good? Does it introduce bugs?

I don't use these model so you need to search the forum or wait till someone who owned these model can share it
