GS108 connecting to modem - do i need crossover cable?

I am attaching my netgear gs108 switch to a huwei modem/router. I want to use the 8 ports in the GS108 to expand the network. My GS108 does not say 'Autolink' on it  - does that mean I must use a crossover cable between the router and the switch? thanks, Gregory
