How can I access my DSL modem
I want to be able to login to the DSL modem while connected to the R7800, I want to check for firmware / security updates and I don't want to have to plug directly in to the DSL modem. I'd like to do the this from the comfort of my arm chair. routerlogin.net takes me straight to the login page of the R7800 I need to get passed that.
Thanks.

Not a very detailed description of anything.

As it should. What's the IP address of your "the DSL modem"?
Putting that into your web browser might be a good start.
The documentation of your (unspecified) "the DSL modem" might tell
you what its default IP address is. On the R7800, BASIC > Internet :
Internet IP Address might give you a hint, because I'd expect that to be
on the same subnet as your "the DSL modem".
All of that assumes that you really have a separate DSL modem and an
R7800, and not the "Model: D7800|Nighthawk X4S - AC2600 WiFi VDSL/ADSL
Modem Router" which Netgear seems to think that you have.
