Re: How can I open my Nat type from moderate for ps4
Moderate NAT is expected when the PS4 is behind a router. There should be no problem (source).
That said, the following settings are often recomended.
- Make sure your WNR2000v4 is not plugged into another router (i.e. your ISP's box may be a combination modem and router)
- Enable Open NAT under ADVANCED > Setup > WAN Setup
- Enable UPnP under ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > UPnP
- Add an Address Reservation for your PS4 under ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup

Re: How can I open my Nat type from moderate for ps4
I live off campus, so I don't know if that affects the setup; however, on the ps4 it still says type 2 nat type.

Hello Jaydurant35
You can not get to those settings in the app you have to log into the modem via the web browser by going to 192.168.0.1 and then login with admin/password
