IP cameras do not work on wifi, only on 4G please help

The model is Netgear D7000  AC1900

I got port forwarding working on my IP cameras so I can access the camera via my cell phone using 4G.  However, if turn ON the wifi on my iphone where the ip camera and router is located,  i cannot access my ip cameras

Any ideas? thank you

   Firmware version?

How, exactly?  Using what as the port-forwarding rules?  "my IP
cameras" is not a very detailed description of anything.

> so I can access the camera via my cell phone using 4G.

"access" how, exactly?  (Web browser?  (URL?)  Some special camera
app?)  Do you think that "4G" is important, or does this work from any
computer/device outside your LAN?

When you do what, exactly?  "cannot" is not a useful problem
description.  It does not say what you did.  It does not say what
happened when you did it.  As usual, showing actual actions with their
actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful
than vague descriptions or interpretations.

Copy+paste your port-forwarding rules here.  If you're using a web
browser, or possibly some other app), then the URL (or other
address/port spec) may need to be different when you're on your LAN.
But without knowing what you're doing, it's hard to be specific.

Crystal ball is on a holiday with my grand aunt in Transylvania.

Wild guessing... As most consumer routers including the Nighthawks don't allow using what is named NAT loopback you can't use a whatever configuration accessing services over the Internet port (public IP). You might have to create a dedicated or alternate configuration on the App for the IP camera access while connected to the local (W)LAN.

It seems to work on my D7000 (V1.0.1.64_1.0.1), with my Foscam
"FI9821W V2", just as it had with the DGN2200v4 which it replaced (and
the Cisco 678 which it replaced).  So far, I've never seen one which
doesn't do this.

What should the reader do if it was worthless (or worse)?

You can access the NAS remote access port and port forwardings from the LAN connecting to the WAN IP address:port ?

Provide a minimum information so the community does not have to ready the crystal ball. That much about worth and worthless.

Camera, not NAS, and I use my domain name, not my IP address, but
that's right.  On which Netgear router have you seen this fail?

A question which is missing minimal information is almost as annoying
as begging for kudos in every posting.  But not quite.

OK, you are right - this works indeed, just tested the R9000 on 1.0.3.10. My mind must have ben biased by the DM200 in modem mode blocking these connections when incoming from the Internet.
