Install D6300 Firmware on D6300B

Dear All,
In one of my travel to Germany, I bought a Netgear "modem/Router" D6300B. Back in my country, I discovered that the (B) model is for exclusive use in Germany...
My question: Is there any possibility to replace the D6300B firmware by a D6300 which works for all regions.

It may be that the "B" is to indicate it's an annex B device. The non"B" may be annex A. If the hardware is identical between the 2 devices you may be able to load the non "B" firmware on your device. If it's like the DGND3700 and DGND3800B, those devices are identical hardware, however Netgear put a hardware ID in the EPROM that the firmware checks and stops you from installing the two devices firmwares interchangably. You could try the non "B" firmware and see if it loads. If it doesn't, you're still going to have to get another devices so I'd say you have nothing to lose.

Actually, I have tried what to a non B firmware on my device and got the error msg you mentionned. So no chance to make it run 😞
