Issues with network speed since last firmware update D7000v2
Hi
I just realised today that since I upgraded to the latest firmware on my netgear d7000v2 i have started having issues with my local lan connections. One way i get great speeds, the other i get terrible speeds. Ive tried several devices and cables with the same outcome.
For reference i run a 10 port cisco switch off my modem (always have).
Is there anywhere i can find copies of the old firmware to see if i can downgrade and fix the issue?

did you do a full reset after the upgrade? Always worth doing a full reset after a firmware upgrade.

Re: Issues with network speed since last firmware update D7000v2
Hi maraach,
1. To confirm, the issue persists on previous firmware you've upgraded from as well as the latest (1.0.0.53), correct?
2. Are you referring to local file transfer speeds?
3. What speeds are you getting (to and from)?
4. What speeds were you getting before?
5. Does the issue persist even when bypassing the Cisco switch (just using the D7000v2 LAN ports)?

Re: Issues with network speed since last firmware update D7000v2
1. Issue started occurring when I upgraded 1.0.0.53. I tried downgrading to 1.0.0.51 and 1.0.0.47 but it still occurred
2) yes. Local lan transfer speed. Two boxes same gigabits Ethernet.
3) From 113mb/s (iperf3 test gives 972mbps). To varies between 1mb/s - 4mb/s. Iperf3 all over the place.
4) full speed 112mb/s up and down
5) if I bypass the switch it works fine. If I use and treat switch it works fine. If I try any other brand switch the same problem persists.
