Linking 2 DM200's
So I work at a campus that has dormitories geographically separated from the work installation. Our maintenance guys are installing a system that monitors boilers and hvac systems all over campus. These dormitories have no fiber or copper runs going to them. Just telephone. We've always used old dsl modems to get our network to a work station but have exhausted our old dsl modems that are easily configured. I purchased 2 DM200's thinking I could link a LAN cable from our switch in a central hub to the 1 DM200, connect to a phone line over to the dormitory, pickup that line with the other DM200 on the distant end and have the head unit from the Boiler Room and HVAC plug into the LAN port. It's the way we've configured it using the old DSL modems for years, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to configure these modems to get it to link up. Please if anyone has any ideas, you'd be saving me many man hours and headaches from trial and error!!!
