Looking for voip modem for nbn

I am looking for a voip modem for nbn with wanting to connect a landline where the phone rings like the old phone system was before nbn.

Got a tp-link, but the rings happen once every 5 secs.  Contact tp-link and my provider, but been no help.

So need to purchase a new modem, but now being cautious what I purchase.

Does anyone have any recommendations what voip modem I can get that makes the phone ring like the old phone system?

Hi @beetlejuice, NETGEAR only offers the following modem models on the link below but they do not support a landline port (RJ11).

   You "Got a tp-link" _what_?  TP-Link makes many things.  Has your

(unspecified) "a tp-link" a model number?

   You might get a better recommendation if you provided some basic
information.

   Those are all DSL modem/modem+router models.  Have you a DSL
connection, or something else?  (Hint: "NBN" is not enough information.)
