As the title says, I'm literally getting half the internet speed through my Nighthawk D7000 router than I do via ethernet, also tested by my ISP (Sky) too...
I have a 5g network running too which I have smart TV's attached, plus the odd mobile/ipod/ipad/Sonos, but these are all switched off at the mo.
The 2.4 network I only have 1 laptop attached and struggle to get any more than about 20Mbps, with an ethernet of between 38Mbps and 41Mbps...
I've tried moving channels around, 9, 11, 12, 13 but this has very little impact and still getting a max of about 23Mbps...
Any ideas on config or router set up (or even switching the 5g off for example) would be great!
