Making D7800 into a Mesh
I have a D7800 currently and want to fix WIFI coverage issues. Should I consider adding something like the EX8000 or selling my D7800 and going for an Orbi or Linksys Velop solution instead. Has anyone found a cheaper solution for turning D7800 into a mesh network more cheaply, Ex8000 isnt exactly cheap either. Reason for wanting mesh is seamless roaming with same SSID rather than anything else.

Re: Making D7800 into a Mesh
Thanks for the suggestions. I've done a bit of research and
1) cost of adding a 6200, although cheap means I have to keep the whole lot together, need two of them to get the coverage overall. I'm a lazy nerd so mesh ease-of-operation is appealing to avoid being IT support to the rest of the family.
2) Take your point about Orbi
3) Ubiquity is where I am going to go. Sell my 7800 and put that towards the cost. They also look visually unobtrusive.
Thanks for the feedback.
