Re: N300 router modem configuration
How are you connecting from PC to router? LAN? Wifi?

I run the wizard on my pc and get the msg adapter not connected.....
Is that the exact message?
What you are you connecting with? The "wizard" could be one of several things?
Desktop app? Browser interface?
There is a manual for the DGN3500 somewhere at the end of this link:

Re: N300 router modem configuration
What address in internet explorer?
Maybe this will help.
If you cannot login to your router | Answer | NETGEAR Support
If not you will have to provide more detail. What are you doing – take us through it in detail – and what are the exact messages you see?
Without that information we are just guessing at what might be happening at your end.
By the way, you posted in the wrong bit of the forum, which may be why your "footer" shows that you are using an R6900, which is a router.
There is a dedicated area for cable modems.
Cable Modems & Routers - NETGEAR Communities
Maybe there are existing conversations there that would help you.
