NAS drive files not visible on Opus media server

I've recently replaced my router due to a lightning strike but can no longer see the music files on my WD NASdrive. The drive is visible on the network but I can't see any of the music files on my Opus media system (and they are still there because I can see them on my MacBook)

any ideas ?

Hi EGC,

1. What is the model number of your router?

2. Will your Opus media server detects the drive?

3. Is the media player connected to the network of the router? Is it wired or wireless?

Thanks for getting back to me

1. I have a DGN 2200v3 router

2. I think the Opus media server does detect the drive but I can't be certain. I know that the router certainly sees the drive (it's a WD My Book Live) when I look at the attached devices. Previously I could see all of the files on the drive via the Opus Media app on my iPad - now I cannot see any of them

3. The Opus media player is connected via wired Ethernet to the router. The WD drive is directly connected to the router via a wired Ethernet connection. I was wondering if it should be via the USB connection?

Thanks

Hi EGC,

Try connecting it on the USB port and check if it detects it.

I've tried to connect directly to the USB port on the router but it makes no difference
