NEED AN INTERNET WIZARD

Hello I really need help trying to set my nighthawk up correctly, I need an internet wizard to help me through this I’ve been trying to sort it myself but just keep hitting brick walls. My ISP is BT, I’ve recent just purchased a Huwaei HG612 becuase I’m ASDL and seen this works as a modem with ASDL, but When I connect it all up the nighthawk don’t get internet

Does your (unspecified) "my nighthawk" have an actual model number?
Look at the product label.

None of that is a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.

What, exactly, did you connect to what?  Hint 1: Every cable has two
ends.  Hint 2: If a device has multiple Ethernet ports, then "connected
to device" is not enough detail.

The Huawei HG612 is a modem+router, not a (simple) modem.  Why are
you trying to add this (unspecified) "my nighthawk" to it?  Does the
Huawei HG612 work on its own (without the (unspecified) "my nighthawk")?

If your actual goal is to extend your wireless-network coverage,
then you might want to configure your (unspecified) "my nighthawk" as a
wireless access point.  Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your
(actual) model number, and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.
Look for a section heading like "Use the Router as a Wireless Access
Point".  ("access point" might be close enough as a search target.)

Another possibility might be to configure the HG612 as a modem-only
(which might be possible), and use the (unspecified) "my nighthawk" as
your only router.
