Netgear D6400 & Sky

Hi

About to change over from BT to Sky (fibre to cabinet). Was just looking before the change over date, but note that in the set up D6400 Wizard drop down, there in no setting for Sky! I have checked the firmware update and it is current!

Does anyone know the settings required for Sky or does the wizzard work it out???

I've heard that Sky has problems that need a bit of trickery to get round.

Haven't got it on line yet, as changover not taken place, but I found for some reason after a page refresh, Sky magically appeared! Will update after changeover if it suceeds!

That's good.

I asked because I have seen reports elsewhere of people like Sky not giving out login details, forcing people who want to use third-party hardware to jump through all sports of hoops to find out how to do it.

Given that most ISPs provide hopeless hardware, the thought of being tied to their kit does not appeal.
