We have a D7000 Nighthawk router, trying to setup parental controls. I have created an account on OpenDNS through the Genie app, but when I attempt to log in I get the "This device seems to be registered with another OpenDNS user...." error.
I've logged a support ticket on OpenDNS and they have confirmed they do not have the router's MAC address in their database. The MAC address beign reported is the same as the MAC address on the label under the router.
They have basically washed their hands of this stating it's not their problem. How do I rectify this? How on earth do they get the MAC address into their database in the first place?
