Netgear D7000

Hello,
I recentley bought the D7000 and my ISP is sky Ireland. I have been trying to connect via the Netgear genie but it continues to have trouble finding the internet connection. I rang sky and I was told by them they they do not support any third party routers at all. However, i have seen that many people have found a way around this?? I was just wondering if anyone could help me on this topic.

You need to track down the DSL settings that Sky uses locally.
You might have more luck if you visited a local user group. Something like this:

Unfortunately, Netgear doesn't maintain a database of the settings that the thousands of ISPs out there use.
This is probably the best you'll get around here:
