Netgear D7800 Cannot access the home screen

Hi  I have a D7800 Router that I seem to have an issue seeing the home screen.

I can authenticate just fine ut all I see is a partial white and grey screen. I have tried IE, Firefox and Chrome. Interesting if IO try another browser its shows as logged in at the other broweser but I see nothing.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas, really appreciate it

What is this "home screen"? The browser graphical user interface?

Is this a D7800 or R7800?

Your message says one, but the footer says the other.

The D7800 is a DSL modem/router.

You might get better and quicker replies, and find other answers, over in the appropriate section:

DSL Modems & Routers

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

Re: Netgear D7800 Cannot access the home screen

Apologies

This is a D7800 Modem Router.

I have upgraded to the latest fixpack.

By home screen I mean the index.html thats shows that status etc, I get nothing as if it has't downloaded anuything. This is the same forr all browsers in Windows and Mac. I can sometimes get around this by plugging into the wired connection.

Inspecting the HTML it appears that not even whats contained in the <head> elemants are being displayed

<title>NETGEAR Router D7800 </title>

Inspecting the page code I see 2 errors that maybe an issue:

Uncaught ReferenceError: loadvalue is not defined
at onload (index.htm:9)

funcs.js:582 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of null
at setFooterClass (funcs.js:582)
at change_size (basic.js:3)
at onresize (index.htm:9)

Do you mean the landing page when you go here?

routerlogin.net

Is this any different?

Does this mean that you have previously been using a wifi connection?

Is this new behaviour, or something that started recently?

Have you tried a factory reset on the modem/router?

Do you know what firmware version do you have on the device?
