Netgear DGN2000 - WiFi connectivity issues
Hi everyone,
I am currently having issues with the wifi connectivity on my netgear DGN2000 router. I have my computer connected to it via ethernet cable which works fine. However, my problem is when I try to connect my laptop and mobile to the router via wifi. It detects the wifi signal but I cannot browse the internet as if it is not connected at all.
I have contacted my ISP and they have done multiple hard resets on their end without any luck.
I was wondering if anyone has a solution?
Thanks in advance,
Allan

Re: Netgear DGN2000 - WiFi connectivity issues
Hello @allanphu
Welcome to the community!
What's the IP address of the computer that is directly connected to the Ethernet?
How about the IP address of the 2 devices that can't get online?
What type of wireless security used in the DGN2000?
What's the firmware version installed on the router?

Re: Netgear DGN2000 - WiFi connectivity issues
Hi ElaineM, Thanks for responding to me. The IPv4 address of the computer is 192.168.0.2 The default gateway is 192.168.0.1 I'm not sure how to obtain the IP address on the laptop and mobile. At the moment I have disabled the security, I just want to get it to work first. Firmware version is V1.1.8.0. Here's a snippet of it:

Re: Netgear DGN2000 - WiFi connectivity issues
@allanphu Kindly upgrade the firmware of your router.
After firmware upgrade, reset the router for 10 seconds using a paperclip.
You may download the firmware here and select the best version for your router.
If you're located in Germany/Austria use fw version 1.1.12.0.
For North America, use 1.3.15.0.
By the way, resetting the router will restore your unit to its factory default. So, you may need to reconfigure the router to get it back up and running.
