Netgear VEVG2660 wireless connection

Hi

My service provider recently installed my FTTH. The configuration they have installed uses a Huawei HG8245 as a optical network terminal (ONT) connected to a Netgear VEVG2660 device which provides the WIFI in the house. The Huawei device has WIFI capabilities, but it is not clear how to (or if even possible) to connect the Netgear router wirelessly to the ONT?

Does anyone have a view on whether this is possible and if so how? Also, if possible is there a downside to configuring it like this?

Welcome to the community!

Based from the manuals of Huawei's HG8245 & Netgear's VEVG2660 there's no topic that describes your need. Therefore, it is impossible to have these wireless devices to talk to each other via wireless.
