Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
Wow, Thanks for the info, Malpd.
The link for the frimware doesnt work anymore.
I've looked in the params and cant seem to find the inadyn command.
Think i'm on DGND3700_06140840_A_D.chk firmware.
does anybody have the link for the firmware with the inadyn in it?

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
The 06140804 version appears to be the last one posted by Richud (and the download link works fine). If that's what you're running I believe it's the most current. What link are you trying? Here's the last one I could find that Richud posted.

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
I'm trying to download the firmware from post 8...
@gxrino, thanks! - the link you gave unfortunately doesn't have any source it in, just precompiled binaries for wrong CPU architecture (this router is MIPS). However after looking around I came upon something called inadyn which covers pretty much all the ddns services. I have added it to a new firmware for you to test please?
https://mega.co.nz/#!wIgkwR4Y!ZZHnMy2HXHD49DTCb-xnOAFiBVMtloX9vMAE7n7Aa6w
Afraid there is no web interface for this, so you will need to telnet/ssh into your router and set the details into the NVRAM - the upside of this method is you aren't limited to some boxes , there are lots of things you can change from the defaults.
...Can anybody confirm the 06140804 has this feature in it?
Thanks

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
Hi,
Finally finished this new firmware with a lot more web interface additions after working out a new trick to pass data.
Fixes: log working, selecting VDSL via new menu actually enables it [selecting on original didn't actually do anything] (cant test if it actually works though, so ?). adsl2+ annex M should also be working again.
Updates: Transmission v2.7 -> v2.82, lots of web interface options!
Additions: 'Automatic' to allows RSS fed torrents / pattern matching to get automatically imported into transmission (like Flexget) (requestor:Malpd). Automatic web forum is http://forum.dsmg600.info/viewtopic.php?id=2291
You need to understand some basic PCRE (Perl regular expression matching) to use Automatic. If you want to use/test it from a terminal you need to alter automatic.settings and automatic.data, not automatic.conf (as this gets regenerated).
- Dyndns web interface
(requestor:MikeMCS)
Caveats: The updated web interface took bloody ages to do and most likely has some bugs.

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
im having trouble with automaric, when i set a rss feed and a pattern this gets written in the automatic.data file but when i run the deamon i get the error
/src/automatic.c, 302: No feeds specified in automatic.conf!
and if i go look in automatic.conf the last entry is
filter = {
pattern =>
and there is no
feed = {
url =>
also i noticed that in and url like
"http://wwexample/?page=rss&user=11111"
the & gets replaced by => "" resulting in
"http://www.nyaa.se/?page=rss=> ""user=11111"
is this normal ?
last question , how do i specify multiple patterns for the same feed ? should it be
filter = {
pattern => "show.one""show.two"
?

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
Hi, sorry for my english, the last firmware with no-ip is fantastic but unfortunately the adsl driver from 1.0.0.20 static not work for me (italy)
not work in ppoe and not work in ppoa adsl continuous disconnections
the most workly driver for me is 1.0.0.19 beta 2
I suffered a lot for the dgnd3700 v1 problem (work correclty only .19 beta version)
I would happy for a version of DGND3700_09121810_A_D.chk with the driver adsdl of 1.0.0.19 beta 2
thank you anyway for Your work

Good stuff Richud, keep this sort of thing coming because your work will be much appreciated. Any chance of updating the firmware to work with Sky Fibre Encapsulation?
Billion have updated theirs not so long ago for some of their models, and I believe there is a 3rd party firmware going around for an ASUS router.
🙂

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
Thanks richud , fantastic , all working well , except if i select dial on demand it is not working.I am from India where every bit and bytes counts , using PPoE when I choose allways on it is working fine , but if I choose dial on demand with a specific idle time out ,then at first time it is connecting ok , but after the idle time it is disconnecting and not re-connecting again , even if I try to manually connect from the interface it stays disconnected with red-light , syslog says "daemon.notice pppd[1173]: PPP: Start to connect ..." then nothing , Can you please check this error and could you please add IPv6 in your modded firmware.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
I updated to the most recent version of this firmware and it's running just fine. I reverted to this from the LuKePicci firmware that is basically the DGND3800 version. My issue is the German (Deutsch) language. I have done resets, factory resets and power cycles and nothing seems to allow me to go to English. It did appear to go to Nederlands and then back to German, but not English! Anybody got any ideas?

Can someone please respond to this , this is very annoying bug.
@richud can you modd the firmware DGND3700-V1.0.0.20_1.0.20_Static_PPA.chk , this is by far the best and most stable to me.

Re: New firmware with built in Torrent Client
ProjectVRD: from my 5 minutes (only) of reading you just need to pass auth details via udhcpc , which is already there - just need to ssh in and run the command. [I don't have any way to try myself and there may be more to it.]

Also the -i specifies the interface , but not sure what it will be on DGND, you may have to look at the choices with ifconfig and guess.

@Malpd: sorry for not getting back to you, been busy on another project not devoted any time to this since putting firmware up - did you get anywhere with narrowing down the problem?
I am assuming the &'s were screwing the parsing up somewhere, (not looked into it) you could try replacing them with %26 in the URL's [off top of my head]
