NightHawk D8500 2.4GHz keeps disappearing

I recently purchased the NIghthawk X8 D8500 to replace my Nighthawk X4S believing I could benefit from the performance. I too keep loosing 2.4G wireless signal and the decision finally having been finally escalated to T2 Support in the US that this was a hardware fault as this not been a known problem. So I paid the £20 for an advanced replacement and guess what? It has exactly the same problem 2.4G Wireles doesn't work, this was not a problem when I used the X4S in exactly the same office, CCTV and computers. Two units with the same problem has to be a known problem. I am getting frustrated.

Two routers same problem; what are the chances? By the way bot units run very hot!
@netgear. Help is required and I don't want to repeat the week long nonence of last week and now frustrated.
