Nighthawk AC1900 D7000 CenturyLink DSL Static IP Address

My D7000 seems to function fine as long as I use my ISP's normal dynamic IP service.  My ISP package is CenturyLink DSL at 15Mbps, although I'm lucky to see 6Mbps hardwired, which is the fastest service offered in our neighborhood. In, fact, it's the only service offered in my area.  Several days ago, I signed up for a static IP (per suggestion of a CL technician, to get me on a 'business platform which he believed would give me more consistent service)....

Yesterday, CenturyLink informed me of my new static IP, along with the Gateway IP, Subnet Mask IP, and LAN Subnet IP.    I'm not having luck getting things to work because my D7000 appears to perhaps support the CenturyLink LAN Subnet field in the 'Internet' modem set-up section of my D7000.

I reached out to CL who initially said it should be compatible, then another person at CL told me I'd have to use equipment furnished by CL.  It's impossible to get consistence advice from this ISP, let alone be able to teach the same person twice.

Has anyone else used a D7000 for CenturyLink static IP application?  Is the D7000 even compatible with CenturyLink static IP protocol.  Please help.

I meant to say, the D7000 may not be compatible w/CenturyLink's static IP schema.  I'm hopeful someone in the Community can give me advice.  Thanks!

Plain D7000[v1] or D7000v2?  Firmware version?

Unless they ran a new wire to your home, I don't see how that would
help.  Unless, perhaps, they moved their end of your wire to a different
piece of equipment (DSLAM) in their central office?  If you call to
complain about poor "business" service, then you might get to talk to
different people.

What, exactly, does that mean?  As usual, showing actual actions
(commands) with their actual results (error messages, LED indicators,
...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.
It's fine with me if you want to hide your public IP address, but, even
for that, "a.b" out of "a.b.c.d" would be more helpful than "my new
static IP" or "LAN Subnet IP".

Does the DSL LED on the D7000 indicate (white) a good physical link?

"LAN Subnet IP"?  Did you get a block of eight public IP adresses
(five usable), or what?

   "support" or _not_ "support"?

I would not expect _a_ static IP address to be a problem for a D7000.
A _block_ of addresses could be.   I've never dealt with CenturyLink on
an address block, so I know nothing, but I'd expect it to work if
configured properly, although you'd be wasting most of that IP address
block (if that's what you have, for which, I assume, you're paying
extra).
