Nighthawk D7000 MTU issue

Hello,

I have had a problem with this router before which was solved by running an MTU test and setting the size to 1472.

After a reoccurrence of the problem yesterday (high ping, slow download & upload speed) I ran a MTU test again and worryingly each time I run the test the size seems to be getting lower & lower.

At one stage, It had dropped down to 1260. It appears to be fluctuating, presently now back up to 1360. I'm right in believing it shouldn't be set below 1400 anyway.

Any initial thoughts, as it appears to be all over the place.

Are you seeing anything strange or slow happen when you are below 1400?
