Nighthawk D7000v2 Not Showing WIFI 2.4 + 5 GHz despite ON Portal GENIE
Hi all - I'm hoping you can help me.
My WIFI network channels 2.4 GHz and 5GHz stopped being visible on devices for access despite being ON in the admin portal Genie.
The way it was set up was working fine for me for a couple of years.
The day prior to them stopping being visible for access I have connected a TP-link range extender via the network clone functionality. It connected fine on the day. The folllowing day the range extender stopped working and the WIFI network stopped beign visible/accessible. I have an additional TP-link WIFI range extender connected which works fine - and has been for a couple of years. This is the only way how I can connect to WIFI at the moment.
The Ethernet works fine.
I have the latest firmware version.
Can anybody help?
Many thanks.

Does your (unspecified) "an additional TP-link WIFI range extender"
have a model number? "connected" how, exactly? Wired or wireless?
> I have the latest firmware version.
As always, an actual version number would be more useful than your
opinion of what's "the latest" today.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for the LED
descriptions and "Troubleshoot". Pay particular attention to the "WiFi
On/Off buttonwith WiFi LED". Did you press it? (Further reading might
be helpful, too.)
> [...] in the admin portal Genie.
Does that mean that you're using a web browser, or some app or other?
(I'd stick with a web browser.)

Re: Nighthawk D7000v2 Not Showing WIFI 2.4 + 5 GHz despite ON Portal GENIE
Thanks. I have now resolved this:
Rather than rebooting the router via the Genie app or online admin portal, I have physically turned the router off plus unplugged it from power for 2 minutes. Upon restart, the WIFI channels came back up. 🙂
