Nighthawk X4S D7800 Firmware 1.0.1.16 QOS database

I've just upgraded to the latest firmware, but I am unable to update the QOS database.
Each time I try to do so, it gives the following error;

Failed to download Detection Database. Please try again later.

The database itself is Version: v3.0607.cloud-g0 Release Date: June 07, 2016

If I return the firmware to 1.0.0.48, the update process works.

My 2nd query is regarding the priority you can set  to specific attached devices (low/medium/high/highest)

The options I assign seem to reset themeselves after a while.

Logically, I would assume these individual assignments get stored against their respective MAC address, but I'm guessing here, but this reset mean that they are in fact resetting when the attached device's DHCP lease has expired and new address assigned?

Have you tried to change these settings in multiple browsers to see if its just a browser history issue or cookie issue?

No, its the same whatever browser I try, so its not a cache/cookie issue.

Any ideas on the 2nd part of my query regarding priority assignments to attached devices losing their settings please?

You could try to go back a firmware to see if its a issue with the firmware and will let you make those changes.

Could you please confirm if assigned device priority (under the Attached Devices section) is linked to IP address or MAC address please?

If it is linked to MAC address then there is a bug on all firmwares, as the assigned priorites always get forgotten after a fiarly short period of time

Can confirm qos rules do not update on 0.48 or 1.16

edit: error comes up on both, but appears to update to later version on .48 displaying june 07th 2016

I have the same problem.  I'm using 1.0.1.16 firmware, and I have just restored to factory settings without any success.  I still get the message Failed to Download Detection Database, please try again later.
