Nighthawk X4S D7800 Internet Setup issues with TPG FTTN NBN

Hi
I'm having issues getting a connection to TPG FTTN NBN with my Nighthawk X4S D7800.
Using the Genie setup I can get to the step where I input the username and password but always get "Incorrect ISP Username or Password" even though I can login with those details at https://www.tpg.com.au/home/myaccount
Settings it populates in Setup > Internet Setup is as attached screenshot.
I did come across a simular issue post on TPG's forum where someone was having the same issue with another Netgear router where they said the router has a bug with PPPoE and that you have to setup everything before login with PPPoE and once you have vdsl sync then go back and setup "Does your Internet connection require a login?" although not sure how to try that solution?
Any help would be appreciated.

What, exactly, does "the Genie setup" mean to you?

I have no idea whether the same credentials should work in both
places, but let's say that they should. Are there any special
characters in your PPP credentials? (Known bug in many Netgear
routers.)

I wouldn't bet on it being an actual solution, but I'd try setting
"Does your Internet connection require a login?" to "No" (temporarily).

Non-zero values for VDSL Link / Connection Speed (as shown in the
picture in the sixth message on that TPG forum page) are your clue to a
good DSL link:

Try a manual set up and do not tell it about the ISP.
NBN is relatively new and the details that Netgear has in its genie may not be those you now need.
Ask TPG for the NBN details and fill in that page yourself.
Then there is this:

The setup wizard

Username has a number in it and password has a captial letter and numbers. Do these count as special characters?
> Non-zero values for VDSL Link / Connection Speed are your clue to a good DSL link:
When Does your Internet connection require a login?" is set to "No" I can get numbers against WAN TxPkts, RxPkts, Tx B/s and Rx B/s as well as 0 collisions.
When I swap it to Does your Internet connection require a login?" is set to "Yes" and entering the username and password as instructed from my ISP TPG it shows Link down against WAN and 8 against TxPkts, RxPkts and 8 collisions.

Managed to get it working. Had to put @tpg.com.au at the end of the username.
In other words, you just needed the correct login details.
Why do so many ISPs bury that information? A quick look at a few messages on TPG's support pages do not show any immediate way of getting that information.
