Outgoing IP filtering d7000

Hi, just upgraded from a 5 year old billion 7800n to the Netgear d7000. All is up and running great but there is one setting that I had in the billion that I can't find in the Netgear - outgoing IP filtering. On my old modem I was blocking our Chromecast from outgoing 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 getting them to drop the request. On the D7000 I have found the setting: security, block services but it only gives me the option of blocking ports not IP addresses - is this setting somewhere else and I am missing it or is it just not an option with the d7000. Thanks in advance.

Re: Outgoing IP filtering d7000

The D7000 can't filter by destination IP address.  As an alternative, you can set up two static routes, one for 8.8.8.8/255.255.255.255 and one for 8.8.4.4/255.255.255.255.  Point them at an unused IP address on your LAN, like 192.168.1.254.  Make sure there really isn't any device at that address.  You may need to modify the DHCP server to avoid handing out that address.
