Port Forwarding
That is not the Actual make of the Router I had to put something as it doesn't list my router. I have a D6400 and I am having issues forwarding certain ports on the router. It claims they are being used or are already in use but I know for a fact they are not. Trying to forward 27000 - 27030. I can forward them on another older router but not this one. Can anyone help me at all please?

It's more likely to be in the list if you select a more appropriate
forum, like, say:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/bd-p/home-dsl-modems-routers
A firmware version might be interesting, too.

What was the (whole) actual error message? Copy+paste is your
friend. Did you check those things? Based on no actual information,
I'd guess that you have UPnP enabled, and the router is already trying
to do deal automatically with your (unspecified) software/gizmo.

You're far ahead of me. I know nothing about what you might have
asked your router to do (like, say, UPnP).

To what? Why? If UPnP is enabled, then you might try disabling it,
restarting the router, and taking another run at manually configuring
port forwarding.
