Power light orange and internet light red D6200
After attempting an upgrade over wifi my D6200 router won't show up on my computer and has a red Internet light and an orange power light. Ive tried powering off and a reset but nothing has worked. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Re: Power light orange and internet light red D6200
Rule #1 when updating a router you don't do it over wifi. That's the biggest No No. The thing that can happen is that you can brick your router. I'm not sure about that model of netgear but some do allow a recovery when flashing to a newer firmware. If there isn't you can always try the TFTP method. Look on youtube on "how to debrick a router" Use the tftp2 software and follow the instructions and you just might be able to revive you router.
