"Crashes" could mean many things.
What are the symptoms? What error messages do you see?
The wifi LED goes off? Every wifi devices loses a connection? Things will not connect?

The symptoms are disconnection of all connected devices with 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, while 5Ghz and LAN continue to work regularly.
The connected devices remain connected to the network but remain blocked and do not browse, while if I try to disconnect and reconnect them it simply says "unable to access the network"
A simple restart of the modem and all devices connect automatically.

OK. So you don't have to reset to get things back, just restart.
After you installed the new firmware, did you factory reset (not just restart) the modem/router?
If you did and you still see problems, then you could try using earlier firmware. Latest is not always greatest.
