R/D7800 router firmware and VPN issues

Hi all,  I have tried to upgrade the firmware on my D7800 a couple of time recently from 1.0.1.22 which was functioning ok to the current version 1.0.1.24  - when the upgrade is complete the internet connection no longer is available will not connect.  The connection I have is a FTTN NBN connection from Telstra.

Once I revert back to 1.0.1.22 - all is good again no problem.

The VPN issue I am having is strange - i have a Dynamic DNS account configured and using the OpenVPN client on smart phone I can connect but for some reason the router is not creating a static rout from the 192.168.2.?? subnet back to the 192.168.1.?? does anyone know how to fix that?

There are a lot of people hacing problems connection problems after installing 1.0.1.24. 

I lost all internet connection and I am using ADSL 2+ with tpg. 

I am surprised that it has been over a month and still no fix from netgear. 

I would suggest using 1.0.1.22 until 1.0.1.25+ comes out.

V1.0.1.28 has been released but I don’t see any mention of a fix to the above mentioned issue.
Has anyone installed v28 and if so was the issue resolved?

I am having VPN issue with the V1.0.1.28 version .. will not connect .. when I revert the fireware .. it works .. remind me never to purchase this product again .. this has been the case for the life of the product todate .. I  had to revert on the last couple of patchs .. and still no progress.

Sell your 7800 and get a ASUS - DSL-AC88U, this company doesn't care about it's customers, we're just by-product of cash flow they can ignore and get away with it.
