Reading cfg file
my router died last night and I had no option but to reset it to factory settings to get it back working. Before I did this I backed up the cfg. However every time I try to restore the cfg to the router it bricks the unit.
I had a lot of port forwarding settings on the router for cameras, security etc and want to read the cfg file to get this back to manually put back into the router.
can anyone help me read the cfg file.
I have a D6300.
Thanks

Re: Reading cfg file
The configs seem to be binary. There are binary viewers on the net. That might be something to try. No idea if the config would even be legible. No idea if it would even work - have never tried it myself.
