Remote Desktop Issue & enable ping (DGN1000V3)
Dears,
I haver netgear router adsl and have static wan ip , can not use remote desktop outside internal network and can not ping, and when create firewall rule RDP need ip from internal network not outside it (need same subnet) , please help me to solve it urgent case
Router model : DGN 1000v3
note: Respond to Ping on Internet port is enable

Your problem description was unclear. RDP uses TCP port 3389, so you should set up a port forwarding rule for that port.

Rule created and and still face problem and can not ping
inbound rule need IP from same subnet
more than one face same problem please help me
if change frameware to another framware , will solve or not

For example, if your home subnet is 192.168.1.x and your computer has IP address 192.168.1.5, then the port forwarding rule needs to point to 192.168.1.5.
What IP address address were you entering? Your static WAN IP address?
