Router drops connection
I've tried a little bit of troubleshooting for this problem but I don't seem to make any headway. I've tried changing the wifi channel and updating the firmware to V188.8.131.52_1.0.1 but no difference. I have also reset to factory settings more than once. The router has never worked properly in this way.
Basically, all my devices seem to be unable to stay connected to the internet. Their wifi indicators still show that we are connected to the router, but no internet. As an example, YouTube or Netflix on the Apple TV will hang during a video before either resuming in half a minute, or will display a network error. Similarly, my phone will drop connection to VPN while still showing the wifi network icon.
Is there something I can view on the router to see what the error is? I doubt it's my internet provider, but suspect a setting.
